This year I wanted to use the Inktober challenge to push myself and my art style, as well as loosen up and speed up with concept pieces. I tend to lean into bright colours and using the same brushes. This can create a fun vibrant piece, but I wanted to see whether my style could still come through with some added constraints.

The main challenge: all these pieces were made in one day, in approximately 5 hours. I also restricted my colour palette to only black and white and decided to explore some different brushes to add some texture. Some pieces had additional time constraints, but overall I really enjoyed this process. I will definitely be returning to some of these pieces and further developing them - perhaps with a little more colour!
